ness Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Don't know what to tell you but I will say this: Keep in touch, and/or go see your friends and relatives often. It's hard to do it face-to-face right now so give them a call. Had a friend I worked with for ~25 years just pop into my head the other day. Hadn't talked to him in a little more than 2 years and made a mental note to give him a call. The NEXT day I got an e-mail saying he had passed away. 72 years old, so not a young guy by the numbers, but not old either. Still sharp as a tack and had a lot of life left in him. Johnsfolly 1 John

I have a buddy who is a widower that has only one son. I don't really know his other friends well enough to have their numbers. He is now in his 70's and I don't know if I would ever find out if he died except if his phone went out of service.
oneshot Posted June 15, 2020 Author Posted June 15, 2020 Most in my family don’t see 60 my Uncle was exception he was in his 90’s. My Brothers and Sisters are dying. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Every day on this earth is a present, there are no guarantees on tomorrow or anything beyond right now. Age is relative have friends and relatives that have passed at a younger age than I am right now. I was pretry sure my mom was gonna outlive me, but she passed jit a couple weeks ago. Every moment is precious. laker67, ness and BilletHead 3
oneshot Posted June 16, 2020 Author Posted June 16, 2020 Well my Uncle was where he didn’t remember anyone. He has been in Nursing Home couple years. My Baby Sister has Aneurisms. Was operated on and for ten years couldn’t do anything. Plus couldn’t talk. Her Ex was younger than her. Didn’t think she would live that long. I get a call asking if I would kill him. Finally the best thing was a Divorce. Her Daughter tried taking care of her but it was too much. She died peacefully me holding her. My other Baby Sister died of Skin Cancer. She was in good humor until the end. Had Baby Brother that died of Cancer. Didn’t have anything to do with anyone. Spent most his life in Prison. Wanted everyone else to worry about what to do with him and made no arrangements before he passed. My Mom the Guy she was Married to wanted control over her but wanted to live with another woman. He told me if I had anything to do with her he would kill me but after she passed he didn’t want anything to do with her. I said nope you’re married you make arrangements. Couple more deaths that were interesting. I came my closest to dying 6 years ago. I was ready but Doctor wouldn’t let me. oneshot
oneshot 1 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Found out a bunch on my Uncle. He wanted to marry a Japanizes woman but my Grandparents said no. Kind of like me and a Black woman I was living with. I was told by my parents we couldn't get married. He was married before but they divorced and she married a Movie Star. oneshot
Flysmallie Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Who the hell lets other people decide who they will marry? Thought this was land of the free and all that?

Probably someone who is living under their roof and eating from their table. Otherwise, yeah ! I can marry a one-legged penguin if I'm paying the rent and buying its food. snagged in outlet 3 1
