Has anyone tried raising them in an aquarium? If so what did you learn?

also are scuds in tablerock and bull shoals?

are they a critter that needs cold water or could they thrive in any lake in our area with the right bottom conditions?

MONKEYS? what monkeys?

I thought Phil had some in an aquarium in the past, but I may just be thinking of underwater footage he took of them.

They probably taste better than sowbugs. 😜

Especially with a little butter and white wine reduction.:D

You must have never read a Comic Book, or "Boys Life" as a kid.   The ads and order forms were in every single issue.   $4.99 baby!   One penny less than I got for mowing the widow Landrum's yard. 😊

Didn't have many comics  (lots of books tho) and I don't recall the ones I had having any ads, but that would have been 60 years ago and I've forgotten two or maybe three things over that time. I recall seeing "sea horse" ads someplace, the picture looked kinda like a chess knight... Is that the one?

Wait You got paid for mowing a lawn? No sheep? or geese? $5.00... I've chased wild cows all day on horseback for three bucks in silver and thought I was rich. I don't recall anyone actually having a lawn outside the city limits, nor did we  even own a lawn mower in those days. I think I was probably 26 or 27 when I learned about lawn mowing at my inlaw's after they moved to the suburb.
