Devan S. Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I've got a single mcstik 110 that I have used for several years and I would bet its caught several walleye over 5lbs and countless others smaller. paint is darn near gone on it....its old trusty and when I'm in a spot where I know they are....its what I throw when nothing else is working. I'm sure its dumb luck and 100% confidence but its gone through heck and back a dozen times. Megabass....just based on price alone I end up losing them before I can tear them up.

I like to bounce those baits off the rocks during the retrieve which pounds on the knot. Vanish fluorocarbon line was the worse. If I didn't retie every 10 to 12 casts I would throw the lure. Thankfully most of the time I was casting upstream and they would float down to me. Other times they would sail into the woods🙄.

I've heard that about Vanish for years and never had any trouble with it. I do like Red Label better though. It's more supple. I like supple...😁

Ties a good strong knot, casts well on BC, good wear resistance, and affordable. vernon, snagged in outlet 3 and LD Fisher 1 2

Went to use them a week ago, opened the box and about 9 of them had all popped open straight down the middle of each. Thinks possibly from the pressure changes in his boat over the summer in his shop. An expensive lesson to learn if that is the case. He has talked with MB and sent them back. They have not made a decision as of the last time we talked as if they will replace them. They got hot. That's about the only thing that hurts them nomolites 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Devan S. Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I use Pline CXX on most of my stuff. As far as the jerk baits I think it does fine. I'm sure Flouro might be better but Pline for me is tough enough. My biggest problem is just fishing all day or days without a retie(until I throw one off of course).

Personally I've been throwing the Provokes. Only thing I dont like about them is they dont dive to deep but I'm going to try some suspend strips this year and see if that helps. Possibly buy 1 or 2 110+1s if I get the right gift cards this year. Lol bluebasser86 1
