We were in Gainesville visiting relatives and I figured out when the Gators were practicing and where to go. We hung out in the stands by the tunnel waiting for them and I told 2.2 he should ask Mr. Tebow for an autograph when he came out. We got the football signed and then I asked for a photo of them together. 'Timmy' (that's how he signed the football) obliged. They scooted together and I took the shot... which was spot-focused between them way across the field to the far wall. Dang it. We bought tickets to the PGA champions event at Top of the Rock a few years back for Lovey's boys who are golfers. The younger one was posed for a photo with Arnold Palmer. His brother took a selfie instead. ColdWaterFshr 1
Flysmallie Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 I have a store in St. Joe that is my responsibility. Yesterday I was in a weird little storage area moving some boxes and found a door in the floor. It was unlocked and would open into a basement. Keep in mind this store is in old downtown St. Joe. It’s an old creepy part of town already and I have found the gates of hell. I asked our store manager what was down there and he said he would never go down there. One of the other long time employees said she had been down there about twenty years ago and even then never made it all the way down the stairs. Curiosity got the best of me so I found a flashlight and had a look around. Probably the creepiest place I have ever been. I didn’t hang around a long time but as I was coming up I noticed locks on the door. But they were setup to lock from the inside. WTF? ness and ColdWaterFshr 1 1

ness Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 Speaking of creepy... Growing up I had a couple friends that lived across the street from a cemetery and we used to mess around in there a lot. It's the kind with huge headstones, mausoleums, famous people, etc. In it there's a huge mausoleum. At that time it wasn't marked, so we never knew whos it was. One day I walked up the steps and one of the doors was ajar. I opened it up and peeked inside, then went on in and walked down the aisle a ways. There were tombs along the side walls. As I walked down I could see some footprints in the dust. Hmmm. There was a pit at the end and the ends of a ladder were sticking up slightly above the floor level. And on the floor near the pit were a bunch more footprints. Just too weird and I didn't really want to know who or what was in that pit. So I left kinda quick like. Here's a picture I took of it a few years ago. The doors are on each side after you go up the smaller sets of side steps. It's got a historical sign in front now. It's the William Rockhill Nelson family. He founded the Kansas City Star and when he died he gave a chunk of his fortune to found the Nelson Art Gallery in KC. Al Agnew Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Geez, I take a lot of photos but don't worry much about how great they are because I use them as reference for paintings. Started looking through my phone, and came upon this one from this past summer at our place in Montana, that just struck me for some reason. Sunset, Yellowstone River. fishinwrench, ColdWaterFshr, nomolites and 2 others 5

I worked up in Newport Rhode island for a guy that bought old houses, apartments, and refurbished them and rents them out. He had a brownstone house in Boston. It had a basement like this one. The weird part about it was that it connected under ground with the other basements of the rest of the row house but covered what seemed like blocks on both sides and across the street. All lit by tiny incandescent bulbs in each of the basements when folks were down there.
