We are lucky to have this treasure in our backyards Mitch.  I have so many good shots of this same view.  Occasionally see eagles over the river here.

There was a nesting pair not too far down the river from here before the big floods.  Looked like the nest was being rebuilt this spring.

Tried to get a decent picture via phone adapter for spotting scope. I’m learning. Christmas star last night and tonight. 
certainly closer together today.  

It’s a trip to think that it could be the same phenomenon the 3 wisemen saw.....

I'm thinking the same thing. I was going to do it last night but the moment had already passed and they were below the horizon.
