oneshot Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 My wife was just exposed but her Mom is telling everyone she has it because she is working too many hours. My wife is only working 25 hours a week. She has a deal to check Heart Rate and Blood Oxygen . My Heart Rate is 62 and my Blood Oxygen is 96. Checked my Temperature too and it is 97.8. oneshot
Foghorn Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 My 91 year old uncle passed away from Covid a couple weeks ago. Tough ,old guy who survived better than 2 years in a Korean POW camp and went on to live a pretty good life. Was sad for all that he survived that "hell" only to die of the coronavirus. bfishn, snagged in outlet 3, Johnsfolly and 1 other 1 3
bfishn Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Lost one of my best friends to COVID yesterday. Some of you locals might remember him, he & his wife owned Village Ship-N-Shore. His wife got it too, it gave her a stroke, but she seems to be recovering. RIP Paul. snagged in outlet 3, Johnsfolly and BilletHead 3 I can't dance like I used to.
DADAKOTA Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Not once did I have to wait for someone to tell me this was real. We chose from the git go to mask in places where we could not be socially distanced. Hand washing and hand sanitizer used as well. We have limited our travels and our social circle has been reduced. So far so good. Folks that have to rely on government to tell them what they should be doing are nothing but lemmings. David Unnerstall and BilletHead 2
oneshot Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Sorry for those passing but it could have been worse. Everyone dies from this world. Several have died in my family from Cancer. My Step Mom died of Staff Infection. I had Staff Infection but I came closer to dying of having my Gallbladder removed. oneshot

But there's a big difference between cancer, heart disease, car wrecks, and all the other things that kill us vs COVID. There's nothing you or I can do to keep someone else from dying from all the 'normal' stuff. We can do (or not do) things to keep others from dying of contagious diseases. We're just too selfish and stubborn to do it. BilletHead, David Unnerstall and Terrierman 3 I can't dance like I used to.
moguy1973 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I'm in quarantine from work until next Monday. Boss came to work with it and exposed our whole department. I got tested and was negative, but I still have to quarantine from work. My boss and her husband aren't handling it well but they didn't need to hopsitalize. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
oneshot Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Well I have a cold and making me feel bad. Was supposed to have surgery next month but it is canceled. Probably because of COVID-19. Supposed to call and reschedule. oneshot
