Not my best video effort... struggled with wind and keeping the boat on spot.  Still learning this crappie thing...  I did find that if you follow the flat side lake edge - where it drops off from flat to channel - you'll find quite a bit of small structure that holds fish.

Well you didn't catch a bunch of crappie, but it is still interesting to see the Livescope view. Where do you have the Livescope transducer mounted?

What is with the 2 trolling motors?

The Garmin Force is his actual trolling motor. The old Minnkota Powerdrive is just for the Livescope transducer so he can point it in a certain direction while being spot locked. If you spot lock with the transducer on the trolling motor, it will constantly be moving instead of staying pointed towards your target.

Seth pegged it.  But I need to get another mount.

Jeff - I caught 2 crappie and 2 bass.  Still not keeping anything, I just like getting better at fishing for them.

What mount do you need?    I have a whole pile of blown TM's in the boneyard.  Maybe I can hook you up.

Do you just need a lightweight mount with a shaft?

Bull shoals is tough, smaller hooks help, I remember once if you used a gold hook you were not getting bit...an old timer once told me to use “ slicks”  a creek chub about 2 1/2 “ long....found a place to trap them in a spring creek...I must say they out produce store bought minnows by a wide margin.

Good bait, tough too. Stone rollers.
