Fliers, Orangespotted Sunfish, Bowfin, Dollars, Bantams, Blue Cat, Spotted Gar, Carp on fly....etc. So cool! John's got a bunch of cool fish too! Mud Sunfish!!! Lots of stuff that seemed out of reach. I've got to hit the local creeks and nail down some probables and hopefuls. Ive got more road trips to make to catch more "local" lifers. I'm going to start trying 1-2 hr trips looking for mad toms. I have a couple of proven locations. I wish I had a local buddy to add strength of numbers. As you know can be pretty tightlipped. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

It is incredibly frustrating. much fuller body than Logperch. I did not know Niangua Darters were big (I don't think they are in Arkansas). Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Johnsfolly Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 JF #96 Sheepshead minnow, Cyprinodon variegatus Been trying to use thin (1.5 to 2 mm wide) squid strips on a tango hook that I can trim easily once on the hook. The sheepshead just showed a total disdain for the squid. Switched to a small piece of sandworm and hard to keep them off the hook🤔. (swapped photo with the edited version) nomolites and FishnDave 2
Ham Posted July 13, 2021 Author Posted July 13, 2021 72) Logperch : my easy spot to catch them wasn't easy after all. I went to my back up location and while it wasn't easy, I was able to get it done. nomolites, Johnsfolly and FishnDave 3 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future.
