Quillback Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Launched at about 0730, cloudy sky, water was flat calm and stayed that way for the most part all morning. Thought today would be a dynamite day for Ned fishing, but the bass didn't agree, I threw the Ned quite a bit and had only one spot and a 17" walleye to show for it. Threw a Pointer 78 early, there were a few fish coming up to swirl on top, gave them a chance at the Pointer, missed three bites and those were the last bites I had on it. Out of desperation I started swimming a 2.8 Keitech on a 3/16 oz head on flats that were 20-30 feet deep. Let it fall to the bottom and then slow rolled it back. Started catching fish, all spots with one meanmouth. Left at 1:30 PM with 15 bass total, 5 keepers. WT 44 Muddy Water, dtrs5kprs, David Goddard and 11 others 14
