How many of you have looked at your streamer in the water and said, darn that’s sexy?

fshndoug sent me a video of two, one a sculpin, and the other a stand up jig looking thing. He was walking them on the bottom of a tank. Both flies were so realistic, that they had that "please don't eat me look". He is tying me a couple of the stand ups to take to Texas on our annual bass fly fishing trip. Last trip we caught some really nice fish on his green/white rabbit strips.

Those look really good!  Its the Ned rig for a fly rod?  Or maybe even for spinning gear!  Hm.  I might have to try something like that.

Yes my version of the fly rod Ned.  could be used on light spinning gear.  Color combination is endless. Copic markers are your friend. One pictured is a PB&J. Have not seen anything like this out there like this. Going to be fun trying them :)

Gamechangers look/swim so good in the water.  I'm sure you've all watched a bass ignore a fly or lure, until you started jerking/twitching/darting it, right?  Suddenly the bass wants to eat it!  That style of retrieve has worked best for me with Gamechangers.

Everybody has their favorite lures and/or flies.  And I've seen it many times, where 2 guys fishing the same lure/fly ...one catches lots of fish, the other catches few...its strange how that can happen, but it does.  The first time I tried these made me a believer that bass especially really like these. Sometimes other fish do too.

Yes they work quite nicely. Know that for a fact.

Been bathtub testing alot of flys lately.  Learning some pretty cool stuff.

#1 is the importance of a no-slip loop knot on EVERYTHING.

Also learned that this fly here, tied on with a no-slip loop knot, "Spook walks" better than a Pole dancer does. 👍  IMG_20210213_130945627.jpg
