                    I feel like TFO makes good fly rods too. Have four in my arsenal. I'm a novice so might not know much but I like them.

I have to look but I don't  think that the Airstream have the exposed threading on the handle behind the reel. That just looks uncomfortable to me. I wouldn't mind spending the money if it is a good rod but if it's  not comfortable to fish then I'm out.

Some many GREAT options for fishing poles nowadays compared to when I was growing up.

Enjoy the gear guys. Try not to go broke trying for the very best when you are surrounded by excellent products everywhere you turn

I can and will be Glad to learn from anybody. I’m always trying to improve. I just believe that for you to call yourself a novice with a fly rod is NOT accurate.

I feel like I am an experienced beginner.

I bought 6'6" light fast one piece TFO rods for two of my grandsons.  They're good rods.  They sure outfish me with them anyway.

No comments from the peanut gallery on the low bar outfishing me sets either.

If any one has a used 6 foot version in good shape, id be willing to trade my 6'-6" rod. I like to use a 25 sized reel and i think the shorter rod would pair better...im in Springfield if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Shoot! I wish you would have posted this a couple days ago. I'd have traded you a 6' for your 6.5'. I've got a 6' and I prefer the 6.5' myself. Next time I'll be headed that way will probably be whenever Phil decides to hold the CAM tourney this spring. That's usually in April I recall correctly.
