@BilletHead ,  Here's another guy saying it..... since you couldn't bring yourself to believe ME. 🙄

Pay attention to what kinda shad he says are dying here. 😏

All I want to see is one of your dead threadfin. If they are all over and dead scoop one up and show me. I spent many , many days and nights below Truman Dam which is LOZ and seen a ton of shad netted and snagged and not one was a threadfin. I have seen them in Arkansas below locks and dams making runs up rivers like all fish so I know what they are. Show me :)

I know a Threadfin when I see one.   And Randy Blauket does too.   They've always been here (since the 1980's anyway).  Can't speak for what's in Truman and what comes through the dam, but I'd expect there to be some threadfins in there also.

I'm not gonna be out on the lake for another week or so.   But even if I sent you a pic you'd swear that I stole it off the internet or something. 😅

Drives me crazy that some BIOLOGIST can say something.....and everyone just automatically assumes it is infallible.   I can't count the number of times that MDC's biologists have spouted off crap that was 180° off.

I swept the shop and didn't find one.  Haven't seen one laying in the yard amongst the boats I have to work on.

If there are still any floating around when I get a chance to launch a boat and run around I'll be sure to put a few in sandwich bags and mail them to several of ya for inspection.

My buddy took this picture Sunday across from PB 1.  He said there’s threadfin mixed in with gizzards.

Can't see their noses very well.

Threadfin shad have a mouth kinda like a Tarpon.  Gizzards have a rounded snoot and their mouth is lower
