Great-looking boat. Welcome to the pre-Johnny Ranger family! Lots of other guys will poo-poo your boat, but ya know what? When all of that is said and done and it's time to go fishing, you have a big ol' safe and comfortable Ranger under you. :) There's a lot to be said for that kind of peace of mind.

For sure. My brother and I weren't initially looking at Rangers. Were actually looking more at Tritons more than anything else. But saw this rig and thought it was priced fairly. Which I can tell you almost NO USED BOATS ARE PRICED ACCORDINGLY IN THE CURRENT MARKET. Everyone and their brother is asking 20-30% over NADA Book prices. And just about getting it. It's crazy. But we are VERY happy with it. Very comfortable ride plus you know it's a Ranger and built to last. We aren't speed demons so to the folks that say Rangers are heavy and slow, that's fine. Going 70 with the 250 is more than enough and doubt I'll ever even push it to that. Guys might beat us to the spot but I'll catch the fish behind them. No big deal. 😁

Nice boat. That's moving right along at a decent speed.

Previous owner said he got it up to around 72. I'll probably never find out if that's true. I like to just cruise around 45-50 from spot to spot. Maybe an early morning or later in the evening when the water is like glass I would open her up. But that's the only time I'd ever run her to the max.

Wouldn't you like to know. I'm keeping it a secret so I can stealthily fish a dock on Pt. 2 without hindrance.

Thanks, brother. Glad to see you back on the boards mixing it up again. Hope the family is doing well and your groundhog is still giving you fits of madness.

It was squirrels and raccoons last year. Varmints galore.

72 used to my cruising speed from spot to spot. I was never really in a hurry I just like going fast in/on everything. There’s a reason I don’t own a motorcycle.

I fish an 87 Ranger 360, it's not the prettiest any more or the fastest but it is stable and catches fish.  The fish do not care if they get caught by $100,000 boat or a $5000 boat.  The live wells are all white on the inside, and I only put them in there if I am fishing a tourney.  That is a beautiful ride hope you enjoy your Ranger as much as I love mine.  You can also still get factory direct parts if you need them shipped from Flippin. If you want info PM me.

That boat looks really familiar.  Did you happen to get it from a former Ranger guy that now works for Vexus?  If so, I know it was danged well cared for.

Regardless, you guys are gonna love it!
