First time I saw one of those boats at night I thought someone called the Water Patrol on me and they sent the swat team. Talked to them and they enjoyed the competitive spirit of carp tourneys because of the bow hunting.
Mike

Right. Hunters extending a season.

I dig the bow fishers here.  I wish they'd target the Gar more, but carp and buffalo are their main targets.

Every boat on the lake should be lit up like that.  The whole... "it kills my night vision" argument, is lame as hell.

Saw one the other night when I was night fishing on Bull. Driving up and down the lake with the numerous headlights and generator running. I wouldn't last an hour in a boat that loud.

From a quarter mile away they lit up my whole body and the bank with those super bright yellow lights. And this was during a full moon. I  had to turn away from the lights shining in my face from 100 yds away. A little much don't ya think ,man

What good are those lights anyway when there aren't pointed down at the water?? These guys could see the bank like day time a 100 yds  or more in front of them, and the tops of the bluffs 100' high  above them were all lit up too.

Pic was taken when they were at least a half mile away from me. Like a gigantic yellow sun floating on the water lol

Do they need special sunglasses to operate the boat😄

Hate to even bring it up, but some pretty good dudes from TX just pulled into the room next to mine, with a jet boat bigger than my Excursion. It's like something out of Swamp People.

Apparently there is some sort of three lake bowfishing deal going on. Said Table Rock, Bull, and Truman are the lakes they can be on.

Of course I suggested Truman and Bull would have the best clarity, and biggest carp.

Big truck, big tires? Is it dark color? Boat wrapped in a billion lumens of yellow lights?

it is fine for them to be out, but what t's me off is they run up and down the lake with their portable sun on.  anyone else motoring in their vicinity can not see anything.  that is why, you are to have only your navigation lights on when underway.  wish we could buy a stamp of something to shoot those darn things out, or maybe stick them where the sun does not shine.  one of those idiots were running in an area i was fishing and actually ran up on the bank.  you can't teach stupid.

I navigate amongst them, and don't have a problem with it at all.   Maybe your eyes just aren't up to the night fishing task anymore.   🤔

How is it any different than passing cars on the highway with these new-aged LED headlights ?
