Headed to the lake tomorrow. Staying for a week….dam area. Keeping the boat in a slip and want to take bare minimum stuff so I can bring it back to the room every night. Targeting all 3 species of bass. Will be fishing pre-dawn mornings, and probably not past 10-1100 AM. Any suggestions on things to add to a “day box” that I can easily carry to and from the boat?

Favorite topwaters, Ned, Keitechs, FB jigs, Dixie jets, dropshot stuff….

anything else I should add?

I hate to leave the boat in a slip but just have to this time. I leave it almost completely empty with the lockers unlocked. Graphs are removed.
I came down one morning and someone had tried to remove my motor guide tour…..🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks, and good luck.

Maybe they felt bad for you and were trying to install a new Minn Kota when something interrupted them. (Sorry, you floated that one up in the strike zone and I had to take a swing 😆😂).

I think you're good - might want to add some crawlers to fish on the drop shot if the fishing is tough.

Just edited this, fo some reason I thought you were bringing a 6 yo with you, but reading your post, you're not.  But you could still fish crawlers if the going get tough.

Wish the Back's would have taken some better swings yesterday.

I'm a huge Hog baseball fan but hanging 21 on NCS was probably not the thing to do. Made the entire country mad at them.

I thought the same thing at first but its a 3 game series and the goal is to wear down as many of their pitchers as you can. They were in trouble when they brought Kopps in to pitch 2 innings Saturday night.

I know what your thinking, but the national media including ESPN and D1 baseball don’t agree.
I’m a big Dave Van Horn fan but he has had Pissing matches with at least 3 different SEC coaches this year about proper baseball etiquette and then drops 21 in a Super.

I’m telling you right now, Nobody is feeling a bit sorry for the hogs except us followers.

Back to day boxes. Carry on.

One of the reasons that ALL baseball is tanking. It's become a crybaby sport.

I don't feel sorry for the Hogs and they didn't do anything wrong when they put up 21. They had 17 hits and you can't tell your kids to lay down their bats in a three game super regional. As long as they aren't stealing unnecessary bases you gotta keep your foot on the gas. Maybe if they scored 28 that game they would still be playing. By the way good call on the crawlers Quill. 😂
