Is it triploid?   Article doesn’t say.

There's alot of things the article doesn't say.  But yeah, that is a frankenfish if I ever saw one.

If it’s not triploid it’s the same as browns on the white river chain eating stockers.   Brother’s gotta eat😂

If some group of nerdy biologist's wants to keep track of the biggest brown trout they can produce.....then fine.   But they shouldn't clog up the record books with that BS.

Same with those heavily tampered, specially fed deer with stupid NT racks cluttering up the Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young scorecards.

I think they should have separate records for GMOs.

I've said the same thing Pete on several forums. They can sample the fish easy enough to confirm. If I remember correctly the rainbow world record is a triploid.

It doesn’t say if this one is or not.  If it’s not I don’t have a problem with it.  I’ve seen browns coral and eat stockers on the white.

Agreed.

Browns do that all the time on the White and in Taneycomo. Remember that DJ's giant had a rainbow already in it's gut. I'm sure that any 20+ inch brown trout is looking for stockers when there is such a high rate of stocking like in the White and Taney.
