fishinwrench Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 There's 16.00 worth of campground firewood there too. 😊
Terrierman Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I know for a fact gunwale repairs are available. Check the youtube. One rib is not a big thing either. Might be best to just strip the canvas and replace. I'm betting some Old Town collector would give wrench's left nut for that boat just as it is. Maybe some parts from wrench's uncle oneshot too. I'll give you $20 for it right now. ColdWaterFshr, Daryk Campbell Sr and nomolites 3

Terrierman Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Restored, that thing is worth 3 to 5 K$. As is, I am upping my offer to $25.00 and I will come get it. fishinwrench and ColdWaterFshr 1 1
Terrierman Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Is this your Earl Scheib paintjob? OK, $30.00. ColdWaterFshr 1
Gavin Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 CW, Talk to Craig @ Hargrove’s and ask him to put you in contact with Wally H about a wood & canvas canoe. He collects & restores those, plus he has built a few of them. Terrierman and ColdWaterFshr 1 1

moguy1973 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 If it is flex sealed that thing will never sink. They put a screen door in the bottom of a jon boat coated in the stuff and it still floated! snagged in outlet 3 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
snagged in outlet 3 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 That guy pronounced it warter instead of water. 😂
fishinwrench Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 I took a 17' Tracker Pro in on trade, and that sucker had a terrible leak all along the center rib. I pulled the floor, cleaned and dried everything, and did a 8" wide strip of Flex-Seal inside and out. That boat remained leak free for at least 6 years that I know of. And that was while taking a Lake Ozark pounding every weekend for 7-8 months out of each year. It actually is good stuff.
