Glad I stayed home!  I'm planning on starting back to the club this next week though.

big fish...good job..looks like you took them home and ate em...with that fence in the back

Me and the boy are headed down tomorrow to Campbell point for a week.

any tips on what depth or anything to help us?  I’m not asking for directions...just an idea of what is working.

we usually drop shot and jig fish in front of the bushes this time of year...anywhere from Campbell point to the mouth of the James river

thanks

Nope they were all released, in the summer at cape the weigh ins are on the bank. Guarantee i had the livest fished weighed in.. I take extreme care to make sure they live. I catch them deep in the summer.  I ice my livewell at the launch. Add peroxide to increasing the dissolved O2 content. and put rejuvenade in and try to keep it at least 10 degrees cooler than the surface temp.  I even added an auxiliary aerator just to give them more air. I fizzed every one of them and even put a fin clip on the big one just to keep her down, those big ones like to float on there side even if they are healthy for some reason.
