We're still in experimental mode... we may try anything.

A wet hand towel is how to handle fish once they come out of the net.  Rubber net.  You are way less likely to drop the fish and it's a lot easier on the slime layer they need.

I have fixed this as I don’t have to post pics of fish I put in a tank or a bag so I could show the world that I know how to catch fish lol.

I just don’t take fish pics anymore and haven’t since last October. I don’t have to show everyone I know how to catch fish on the WWW, I am comfortable knowing I catch fish and BIG ones too.

@Phil Lilley, I like to look of those.   I know one of the problems you mentioned was the weight with the water.  Maybe if you created the longer walls as a v, with the handle walls staying the same for support, it would serve to hold less water, and orient the fish to a better photo opportunity.   Just a thought.

I caught this poor guy at Rim Shoals this morning. Apparently another victim of the Boga. He was close to 20" and probably didn't weigh 2 pounds.

Please folks... don't use your Boga's if you are going to release the fish. It is kind of hard for these trout to eat with no lower jaw.
