I don't look at, or search for anything that has ANYTHING to do with the ads I see here.  Period.

Not even close.

Clicking on them also let's them know you're a potential customer :D

Ad blockers are great until they're not... lots of sites block the blocker, IOW, you can't have any pudding if you don't eat your meat.

They can make the ads display, but they can't make you look at them. Never, never, never click on any ad, even if it's something you want to buy.

I can't dance like I used to.

I have inadvertently, while trying to scroll.

How tricky.

OAF should get rid of the tricky ads.  That's not very nice.  We don't do things like that to THEM.

Looks like Phil made two mistakes.
1. Getting rid of the Political forum.
2. Giving you a power trip.

Unless I'm missing something, and I'm SO open to suggestions when it comes to Google ads from someone that knows about it, all I've done is pasted a code from Google into the space provided in the backend of the forum and that's it.  There's no settings, no preferences except the kind of ad which is interactive or not.  The forum software and Google to the rest.

I will say... it sometimes gets a little spooky.  I cut my toenails yesterday (I have bad hangnails) and immediately got an ad selling "the best toenail clippers anywhere".  I wasn't even in front of the computer at the time!

Up top I've got an HBO Max ad, down at the bottom is LL Bean.

Currently I have a Garmin ad on top, and a Concealed carry book ad on bottom.

You're correct @Phil Lilley, you have nothing to do with the ads. It's all algorithm based on the user. I turned off my blocker and I also have HBO Max and Microsoft Azure analytics, probably because that's what I'm writing about.

Sorry @fishinwrench. It's you.

I am getting strange stuff to and I don't even accidentally swipe on the junk. Is it because I read @fishinwrench posts? Thanks alot buddy. 😂
