But he does the mouse trap. But he is full blooded ninja.😂 I like the little dude... Told ya! Quillback Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Haven't had a mouse problem in a long time, but when I lived in Washington I would get them in the garage a lot. I used these traps - rub a little peanut butter into the holes in the piece of fake cheese, or you can rub cheese in there too. They can't slip it off, they have to get it out of the holes and BAM!, they are done. Very few misses. You can also adjust the lever arm and make it very sensitive. BilletHead 1

Yep that's the exact trap I am using. He barely touches it and it goes off. But those traps are not guaranteed to catch a ninja mouse. Ole Vern has had 3 meals off off of it.😂 nomolites and Quillback 2
Quillback Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 I would put just a little PB in the the 2 holes that are closest to the spring, that way he really has to put his neck out to get the stuff.

bfishn Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Put a bottlecap full of 'shine next to the trap. Ninja reflexes aren't quite so good drunk... BilletHead, Quillback, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 3 1 I can't dance like I used to.

Those are for sure better than the ones with a steel pan.. I had some crafty field mice that got away with the bait several times without setting off the trap. I took a pair of pliers and squished in the tab that holds the rod a little bit, making the trigger really light. Had to be really careful setting them, but if they so much as laid a whisker on it, lights out. Ol' Fievel didn't get away with anymore free meals. Quillback and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 -Austin
