Needed someone to direct traffic last night !

Between 22:00 and 01:00 last night there were far more Bass boats on the water by Baxter than what there were "play-boats" during the day.  In and out of the mouth of the 2 Indians where they hit the White, every bank had two and three boats on it and they all started frantically flashing their lights every few minutes when a new boat tried moving in on their spot.  Then, along comes some Inboard-powered, straight-exhaust speed-freak doing a conservatively estimated 85 mph right up the middle of Big Indian.  

I was starting to wonder if there was free Beer or that the word got out the fish were jumping in the boat back in Little or Big Indian.  Never ever seen it that busy and crowded in over 30 years.

It's a zoo out there day or night anymore. People must be making boat payments with their stimulus and extra unemployment checks. 😅

Why should anyone follow speed restrictions on the lake?  Everyone is aware of the risks speeding around in their boats at night - if someone chooses to take that risk, it’s their right. It’s all about personal freedom

Looked at the Regatta listing and there was a night tourney (40 boats) going out of Indian.

There is a night time speed limit and it should be enforced it is the law.

Not aiming at you Hardhead unless you were serious about your post, but this mentality that every rule in the world infringes on someone's rights is pure crap. When you endanger my life ... whether it's by exposing me to COVID by not vaxing or not social distancing or by driving over the nighttime speed limit on the lake ... you've stepped over the line of "your rights" and square into the middle of MY rights.

Ditto on that. Champ hit it on the head with the folks out there who are hesitant on the vax and masks. It some times boils down to common sense and doing what's right for yourself and those around you. SPEED LIMITS INCLUDED

Sarcasm doesn’t come across real well in print without the blue font. I agree with you champ - across the spectrum citizens are ignoring rules, laws, and mandates being implemented for the greater good and claiming it violates their personal freedoms. It’s selfish BS.
