FishnDave Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Stout fish! And nice choice with the Yuengling. They don't sell it west of the Mississippi River...where did you pick up some? 45acp 1
45acp Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 The Yuengling came from sunny Florida. Wife and I spent the last week of September in Pensacola Beach. I bring a few cases home every time we're down there. Yuengling has hooked up with Molson Coors to begin distribution in our neck of the woods. Covid delayed the execution of that, but it is going to happen. The Texicans will be the first to see it. https://www.yuengling.com/news/yuengling-begins-westward-expansion-with-distribution-into-texas/ FishnDave 1

Brewed in Pottsville PA. Have driven by that brewery many many times. They used to state how old they were every year by adding to the cans for each year. So I used to collect a new can every year 😁 Daryk Campbell Sr, 45acp and FishnDave 3

jdmidwest Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 How do the yellow perch taste? Never tried one of them. We catch a few on Pickwick every year in one cove. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
45acp Posted October 6, 2021 Author Posted October 6, 2021 YP is closely related to walleye. Very good eating. Johnsfolly 1

Easy fix to that. Scale and fillet down to the tail, but don't cut through the skin at the tail. Do the other side the same way and then snip the spin off near the tail. You'll have two fillets still attached along with the tail. Call them perch wings. Johnsfolly, BilletHead and Quillback 3
