That's right!  Sounds cool.  Lengths x width?  How shallow does it run?

1648. Runs pretty shallow, really does good in the san/mud flats down in texas.  So far I have been pretty comfortable as long as the hull isn't touching rocks.

When I'm alone in mine it runs 3".  But I thought there was bare gravel at Ackerman.

This weekend I am gonna see how far we can go.  Hopefully @Daryk Campbell Sr has his waders on🤣

My only concern is hitting huge boulders.

It's so hard down river to know how much water you really have to play with. I'm a lot braver over gravel or sand than I am around boulders.

They are just trout ; not worth tearing a boat up over

Apparently you've never lived until you go shoal hopping with Doty or Cody... gotta live a little.

Hey at least I won't be a scared little sissy like when we were crossing 70k cfs waters with questionable engines 😆

I'll take a nice relaxing walk in the water versus the white water rafting!

I am too, the only good thing about the boulders is the river is narrower where they are usually and the water is moving faster.

There's two types of people in this world: The type that gets adrenaline pumping when running sketchy stuff, and the kind that dont.  Pretty sure everyone knows which one I am😉

Plus, I have a welder at the house and can fix the boat if I tear it up🤣

I ran buffalo last year but there was more water.  I will definitely need some guidance on where I can safely run.  Not opposed to wading a bunch either.  Just point me to some water that has enough depth and I will be good.

If the rocks are sticking out it's too shallow....😂

Buffalo city will always have enough water to launch/fish, you just will have to stop at the shoals.  I am going to go to ranchette thursday around 11 and fish, and I will let you know because I think you could fish a good stretch there.  Your motor have tilt/trim? Or can you just put it on shallow draft?
