I will watch it myself for selfish reasons but still think it's a darn shame that the guy who is widely credited as a champion for our sport is the money behind the second-biggest tournament of the year on a lake that probably sees as many tournaments as any in the country. And in his own backyard, no less. How about he puts some of his money behind research and potential supplemental stocking of LM and perhaps SM bass in Table Rock? You know ... REALLY do something for the sport instead of his financial portfolio.

And by the way, is Johnny above the law when it comes to securing regatta permits? None listed for this event.

It is what it is, Johnny can do pretty much what he wants. That train left the building a long time ago.

According to the people at Long Creek our Corp Ramp Pass is not longer accepted and you have to pay to use the Corp built ramp at Long Creek. So if he "owns" the ramp we paid for I guess he "Can Do" what ever he wants is a correct statement. It just shows money talks and none of have enough money to be heard.  He has forgotten who made him his money, fisherman, not tourists.

Well put, willyfish and TRRANGER. My understanding is that he is leasing that Long Creek Park property and charging $5 to launch. Crock of crap.

Was Long Creek a COE ramp before Big Cedar got a hold of it?

 I remember going right after long creek marina was put in and i didnt have cash, I had a park pass for COE ramps.They tried to make me pay but  ddnt have any cash. i told the guy i paid for my tracker which johnny owns so i shouldnt have to pay a launch fee.   He let me Launch for free lol
