So.....Smart guy 👍 JR doesn't have a habit of dealing in conspiratorial BS Don't you believe religion is a lot of faith and little facts? Why so many people go to church? You seen JR and Bob Lazar?

Any that anyone posts you will say is biased and paid for by big pharma and or some politician or someone that believes what I already believe. To which I would say show me yours and you'll show me something paid for by someone believes like you do. And since its highly likely that neither you nor I have any true understanding of the world of virology(if we could even understand the real data to begin with) we will come to the conclusion that there is thousands of medical professionals that believe what you believe and thousands that believe what I believe. That's the deal with faith in what you believe and confirmation bias is that we can truly find nuggets of truth in almost anything if we have faith enough. The good news is you and I don't disagree about your last line.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Check out John Abramson on JRE. It’s a really good one too. Deep dive the pharma industry Some crazy facts on that one too He wrote the book Sickening: How Big Pharma Broke American Health Care and How We Can Repair It,

Vaccinations will be much like flu vaccines now with the makeup of the vaccine intended to work best on the variant that seems most likely to be the dominant strain over the time the vaccine is intended to be effective. Agreed - makes the most sense.

Members SpareTime Posted January 6, 2022 Members Posted January 6, 2022 Lots to address - first, it's probably useful to acknowledge that any side has reasons to believe what they do. I've worked for two different Pharma companies (one, Actavis, is one of the largest generic companies in the world), and I can sing the praises and lament the vices of large drug companies. I also am be hesitant to fault folks like Fauci or McCullough. No doubt though there were policies and decisions which were detrimental. Here is a bulletin from 2017 about the resuming of NIH funding for gain- of-function research, specifically in influenza , SARS and MERS (coronaviruses). It was paused in 2014 after an errant influenza in ferrets scared (rightly so) researchers globally. https://www.nih.gov/about-nih/who-we-are/nih-director/statements/nih-lifts-funding-pause-gain-function-research (Square it with Fauci's testimony before the senate if you're able ) I did watch the JR with Malone. Looking at his "I invented mRNA vaccines" claim, he's partially correct. Even those antagonistic to him agree he deserves enormous credit for using RNA delivered on lipid, and foreseeing the potential for vaccines. Almost never is a monumental scientific achievement a solo effort. Maybe Mendel the monk would qualify. His "I did ...." is extremely off-putting and makes me think that he would be a PITA to work with. Brilliant mind, perhaps. Contrast his demeanor with McCullough, who was much more humble (though perhaps even more accomplished). Poor taste aside, he makes valid points. A side note - ibuprofen works on a different pathway than Tylenol. For strict pain relief, Tylenol is great. For inflammation based pain, ibuprofen will be more helpful. As suggested above, this is a time for ibuprofen. Quillback, nomolites and snagged in outlet 3 3

You seen JR and Bob Lazar? No, I believe that religion is a learned coping technique. And if it works for you..... AWESOME! 👍 All people who go to church do so because it was engrained into their brain from childhood that GOOD PEOPLE go to church, and that it is the RIGHT thing to do. Some continue to go long after their parents are gone because they truly in their hearts want to be good, and they were taught that's rule #1 in being good. They may even feel dirty if they don't go. THAT is what faith (in the religious realm) truly is, Others continue to go because they want to be perceived as being good. They want to be known as a good person.....These are typically the ones doing all the hand shaking, back patting, and smiling while there. Everyone knows their name, where they work, and recognizes them on the street. Has nothing to do with faith. The name Bob Lazar sounds familiar, so I probably have, but I don't recall anything about him at the moment, and too lazy to search the podcast.
oneshot Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 I go to the Lord on everything but I still take medication that he offers and I rinse my sinuses out. It is hard to get through some that when the Lord takes you he is wanting you with him and it is so much better than here. I have had COVID and was Vaccinated but my Doctor said the Vaccine was the worst thing I could do because I have chronic Blood Clots. oneshot snagged in outlet 3 1

The same physicists who agree on that generally agree on up to 10 dimensions of reality. Traditional science uses our sense perception, and therefore the science which we have grown to organize our lives around doesn't account for things outside of our "natural" (3D) world. I'm therefore unwilling to criticize religious persuasion - who am I to speculate on the 5th, 6th, or 9th dimensions? Can faith not be a vehicle of access? Oneshot - did you get the vaccine after getting COVID? The docs referenced above anecdotally and (limited) reference empirical data that this may be harmful. nomolites 1
