Just a layer of sleet so far here in Gasconade County. The snow is supposed to hit us the hardest later on and in to tomorrow. The ice was always my biggest concern.

When my daughter couldn't see the centerline she homed in on mailboxes on the right.     

"Ok listen..... Let's SLOW DOWN, and stay BETWEEN the mailboxes".  

 

She actually said, "But if I go slow it takes longer to steer".   🥴

The roads are getting slick here.  One car supposedly flipped on 60 hwy just east of Republic.

I just got back from Post Office, bank and Chinese carryout in Ozark.  Zip for snow.  Roads from our house to the Finley bridge have been treated, so nothing there.  From the bridge on into Ozark, untreated with patchy spots that are very, very slick.  Roads in town treated so fine there.  As winter storms go, I've seen worse.

So.  You guys within my zone of influence are most welcome.

Currently intermittent freezing rain here in Mountain home. roads are currently fine

It stopped snowing here in Gravi.  I'm gonna say 4" is all we got.  Fluffy powdery stuff.   

I cleaned off the vehicles, boats, deck, and made a path to the shop and mailbox with my leaf blower.   Piece of cake. 👍
