Well i just got a message saying for the Wed. Cape tournament this summer you have to have one person 55 or older to compete.  They only had 6-12 boats total begin with. Usually there were 3-5 boats of younger guys

I guess i took to much of their money last year

The young whipper snappers ruin it for everyone...🤪🤪

I still can't figure out what they could possibly be thinking.  I went out of my way to make sure I'd be off on Wednesdays and planned on fishing most if not all of them this spring and summer.  I admit that I wasn't very active last year, but with a job change and schedule issues I still managed to fish 3-4 of them and paid my membership.  The fact that they changed that meeting to Monday on such short notice was BS. I spent my day in Jeff City with my son who just got the rank of Eagle Scout while he was recognized for that at the capitol.  I can't see how they ever have more than 6 boats going forward.  Hope someone comes up with another mid-week deal.

Those changes do not surprise me at all.  You guys evidently have not spent enough time in that part of the world.  Things are a bit different down there.

Dutch, Andy and I aren't young kids though.  Excluding 40 somethings that literally contribute 25% of the weekly pot makes no sense to me.  It's whatever.  I'll save the $60 a week and will fish the White more this year I guess.

I know that.  If you had ever spent a morning in V-Mar farm store or Jerry Gipson’s barbershop you would understand what I am talking about.

That sounds pretty ridiculous to be honest. I have fished a few in the past on the chance I have gotten off on wed but they obviously have other objectives.

Paul, i would love if we could get someone to host a mid week tournament, but that might be the issue finding someone available, im usually only good for every other week.

Agreed.  I have too much going on to do anything other than gripe and show up to gripe.  Maybe we can all get together 1-2 times a month at different spots.  I'll fish that K-Dock area of Bull a lot if it doesn't flood and if there's no weekday deal.  When I found out about this, I was already annoyed.  Boatworks had to more the date of the jerkbait tournament to the 12th and I'll be out of town now.  Just thankful I hadn't already paid for it.
