Had my clubs with me and had tucked my wallet and checkbook up under the front seat on top of the power linkage….they did not find those but cleaned out everything else which still hurt. Not to mention the repairs to the door on the drivers side. 7 other vehicles were hit at the same time, cops said this was getting to be the norm…they were probably only in that lot for 3 minutes. Mike Sux! What golf course? I leave my truck at river accesses while fishing all the time. Some pretty scary characters around sometimes. I feel like leaving it unlocked with a note on the window that says: There is nothing worth anything in here. Door is unlocked for your convenience. Terrierman and Quillback 2

nomolites Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 I was playing a charity tournament at Forest Park, so go figure(duh!). I was the only truck hit, the other vehicles were mainly high end Euro sedans - the cop I spoke to figures they were hoping for a hand cannon from me but only came away with one pair each Costa/Oakley, my darts/case, and a bunch of change and crap from the console. The door ticked me off more than anything as they punched a hole in it with a phillips head to unlock it and it cost me $1k to get it repaired. I don’t think that trick works on my current truck as it was clearly an issue that needed to be changed by Chevrolet. Mike

The reason I lock my clubs right after playing is because my home was Forest Park growing up. We're talking late 60's. In 2011 at the Michelob City Championship I finished tied for 6th in the regular men's division when I could have played as a senior. I would've finished 3rd in the senior division. I love that place.... vernon, Terrierman and Quillback 3

No, mine was a single round hole and big dent right below the handle…apparently they then just toggle the screwdriver up and down and it catches the linkage and unlocks. The dent did extend up into the door handle recess which likely added to the repair cost. Either way, it blows! Mike

Quillback Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 A few years ago a couple of teenage brothers were breaking into vehicles parked at one of the ramps. They finally got caught in the act, the garage in their parents house was filled with stuff they had stolen. Parents were oblivious. When I lived in Washington, there was a hiking trail not too far from my house, I had a cheap 2D sonar unit that I would unplug from my boat at the end of the day and toss it on the front seat. It was beat, connection corroded from the salt, but it still worked. came back from the hike, driver side window broken, sonar gone. Didn't really miss the sonar, which was completely worthless especially without the transducer, but was annoyed at the broken window. Numbskulls!

Remind me not to play skins with you… Mike I’ve only played twice since 2016. I got the yips putting. I just couldn’t take anymore. Hit the ball good enough to shoot in the 70’s and 3 putt 10 holes to shoot 87. Actually it’s embarrassing. I have to play in a Ryder cup work deal in may. I dread it. Last year I shot 88 the first day and the second day I putted with 6 iron after the 5th hole and shot 79. At innsbrook.
