MDC where to find white bass map doesn't even show them in SWMOwhite-bass-dist-map.png?itok=2od4GNyM

The possession limit almost means you have eat them as you catch them.

Rigging and carrying three rods is more work than I'm up for, casting jigs on fly rods ain't fun to me especially if the effective "drift" is only a couple seconds before taking in all that line for another cast. But loading and hauling and launching a boat is really over my "work limit" .

Y'all have "fun".  And  Thanks for the education, y'all probably saved me a horrible experience.

Well that's inaccurate because they're in Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Taneycomo, Stockton, Pomme, etc. The arms off Stockton and Pomme are some of the best.

I know places they stack up in slow to moderate flows where you can use floating lines. No boat needed just a short walk.

Keeping all that knowledge to yourself must be a terrible burden! 😁  We are all here for you.

Hahaha my apologies! I do not eat the hybrids, those are just fun. But baked, parmesan crusted white bass is about as A+ as it gets!

Dude, hybrids are delicious.  Firm white meat and a good flavor.  I don’t typically fry them, but baked, in chowder, fish tacos……yum!  You hafta have a man’s knife to clean them, but well worth the effort.

I personally can't tell the difference in taste/texture between Stripers, Hybrids, or Whites.     I tend to prefer whites just because of the size/thickness of the fillets.     Perfect! 😋

I'd probably count the entire Osage drainage as Central Mo. Slice the state  in three pieces there wouldn't much of it in the south portion. I guess the fact that they showed the Mo loop of the White that they are saying there are some there but not as many as in the Green shaded area. My mistake on that., But those are still outside my normal fishing area, which explains me not understanding the WB/Hybrid?Mutt distinctions.

We will have fun. It's the best time you can have.

If catching a bunch of fish that are more fun to catch than any junk trout is a horrible experience then you have no idea. all you need is a handful of clousers and a 5wt. Many limits have come on that setup.

~45-50 minutes to grove or Twin Bridges although not that many miles, the Intersection of I49 and the Ar state line.

I know there are whites in the Grand Lake, but, AFAIK they don't cross the state line.  If I ever do go for whites it'd most likely be in the Spring with a son or son in law, but it all sounds like a lot of effort when there are google eye 1/4 mile away that haven't been caught yet.
