Seth
Last year was terrible for me. I never even set eyes on a tom. This morning was much better. Got out of the truck at 6am and bird was flopping at 6:31am. Got lucky and finally had one break away from the flock and roost solo across the field from my blind. He gobbled twice on the roost and once at me after he hit the ground. A few moments later he came running in at full strut and put a whoopin on my jake decoy before taking some #5s to the noggin. 19.5# 10” beard 1” spurs Ryan Miloshewski, Greasy B, Quillback and 7 others

jdmidwest
Nice job. Gonna try this weekend if weather holds out. Youth season was a bust, not even a whiff of a bird. Seth
I pressure cooked the legs and thighs to separate the meat from the bones/tendons and made some pot pies. Super simple and tasty! There was about half a quart bag of meat left over so I'll probably make tacos out of that in a few days once the pot pies are gone. ness, Deadstream, Greasy B and 4 others
BilletHead
That a boy use it all! Legs and thighs are underused and wasted by most. No. I took the easy way out and used canned gravy, canned mixed veggies and two preformed pie crusts. Johnsfolly
