I'm slow on the pick-up.  So...the winning team scattered some of Rick Osborn's ashes on the White River.  Really awesome.  We knew Rick as @laker67 on this forum.  @Ham may have been using one of Rick's fly rods during the tournament.  Also really awesome, right?  Rick was well represented this past weekend!  👍 👍 🎣 🐟

I most certainly did use Rick’s 3 weight and I submitted fish for the tournament that I caught both days with it.

They hadn't arrived at the fly shop yet, so instead we got the laminated prize cards we are holding in the picture.  On their website, they showed this:

I told ricks wife Sandy that they mentioned his memorial in their article and victory. She really appreciated it and speaks very highly those guys. Rick was a legend and really good guy. His boys are great people as well. Privilege to have called him family as well as friend.
