My parents and grandparents were democrats that I think always voted straight ticket.  But it meant something WAY DIFFERENT at that time.    

The "2 choices/Choose a team" thing just doesn't fit.   I don't think it fits for anybody...... but that is all that the career politicians will allow in this ultimately free America.

But as adults who have a very low chance of going postal on a democrap in this group, wouldn’t it be safe to say that as adults, the worse that happens are hurt feelings if the sensitive types allow themselves to get hurt? I mean we all have opinions about every.single.factor.of.life so why be oppressed here for those opinions? Instead bring back a “free for all” section. None of us are forced to be here, to read the content, or forced to get our feelings hurt. Those are all choices.

Hog wire seine lets the bait swim free and keeps only those fish big enough to eat. can be pulled team or tractor.

Get a hold of Phil and ask him to reopen the password access open forum.  It's not a low chance someone will go postal in a political discussion, it's a high chance.  If it happens the thread will get locked.
