Chicks?

Bought 100 Chick's last Spring from Cackle Hatchery. Brought them home put them in my Shed and two hours later they were all dead. They said it was my fault.???? OK.

We have Incubator thinking of just buying Eggs and hatching them. 

What's you think?

I think you should just buy rotisserie chickens from Walmart.  Cheap and delicious.  Buy a pellet pistol and instead of worrying about chickens, sit on the porch and plink empty cans.

When the eggs don't hatch, then what? I've kept chickens and hatched eggs for decades, but if I was buying the eggs I buy them with feathers on them. I suspect  that if you plan to butcher them they are likely cheaper to buy already cut up.

Got to have Chickens and thinking Rabbits.  Soon as we get fence up I guess Goats.

I would have to get something to hold the front of the Rifle up.

I keep chickens for eggs and fun.  They're a PITA to butcher, I'll just buy my chicken to eat in the store.

Last time bought bunch of Cornish X and some Buff Orphingtons.

But like I said they died. In over 50 years I could count on one hand the Chick's I have lost.

Nope but I used to keep a hatchet close by them so they understood their path in life.
