oneshot 1 Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 Well my wife said she don't know where because it sure as heck is going up here. Her car gets 38 MPG though. oneshot
fshndoug Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Gas has gone from$2.41 to $2.89 here in 2 weeks .So much for prices coming down.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 I travel to Illinois for work and over the summer gas would fluctuate 50-1.00 per gallon in 30 miles it was crazy. And it was always way more expensive once you cross the river for MO. Thank god for a company car and card, They actually got me a diesel over the summer. Good mileage but it costs a lot more
FishnDave Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Does it seem like anytime the federal gov't threatens to crack down on oil companies...make 'em pay more taxes or whatever...the oil companies just raise the price of gas to cover the difference, so it never comes out of their bottom line? It's what you'd want, as a shareholder.

oneshot 1 Posted January 5, 2023 Author Posted January 5, 2023 Well why wouldn't they do this when they are told the Government is going to do away with them. oneshot
bfishn Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Sometimes it's something as simple as extreme cold weather like we had before Christmas; https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Gasoline-Prices-Spike-On-Refinery-Shutdowns.html I can't dance like I used to.

Poor folks from IL filling up 5-gallon jugs/trucks, cars full of gas just across the JB and other bridges. Same across the Kentucky line.
