BilletHead Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 David Crosby passed today. Crosby, Stills and Nash and when Young was part of the group is my favorite band. They are a favorite and played a bunch as I work and mees around in my little shop. 81 years old. I actually figured he was older than that. jdmidwest Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I hope he was number three. I lost a cousin and a friends dad this week. Don't need another funeral..... I am hoping for a long dry spell of funerals to attend too. fishinwrench and Johnsfolly 2 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" Johnsfolly Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I have seen CSN at least four times and enjoyed every concert. Never saw them with Neil Young present. The most memorable was seeing David Crosby riding his harley around the Hartford Civic Center after the concert. RIP David. Sorry about all those on this thread that lost folks close to you recently. Dutch Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I only saw them once in DC at the Kennedy Center. I did like their music.
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I haven't heard about his passing until now. I enjoy their music. I'll have a listen this evening. Terrierman Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Crosby was the nuts. Had his trouble with johnny law but came out more or less good. Saw him only once maybe 20 years ago. He could still sing like a Byrd at the time. Johnsfolly 1
Quillback Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I had the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young live double album back in high school. I think it is called 4 Way Street. If you are a CSN&Y fan, it is a must listen. Being reminded of it, I may go out and get the CD.
