Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 7, 2023 Root Admin Posted March 7, 2023 I can verify that the threadfins and flowing... I saw dozens in the water below the dam this morning. It was reported to me last evening that one of our guides saw them yesterday late in the dam as far down as the narrows. I saw them down below Lookout. Caught a dozen rainbows in the 17-20 inch range - their bellies packed with shad this morning. The shad are crowding the south bank. Some have managed to get towards the middle but hit that south bank with white jigs. This is a 20-inch rainbow caught after One Cast. Quillback, FishnDave, nomolites and 10 others 13

JestersHK Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Man that's a packed belly full of scuds. Just finished your 1 cast from this morning. Hoping this bite keeps up till we get down Thursday... Was planning a trip to 11pt and NFOW, but they are gonna likely be chocolate milk... I'm a sucker for flood gates and shad bite on Taney though 😆 trythisonemv 1

Crazy thing about these shad- you just never know if they will come through. But they are trickling over enough to keep the fish looking for them. JestersHK 1
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 8, 2023 Author Root Admin Posted March 8, 2023 But the scud bite should get better and better with heavy flow. It’s super good below Fall Creek. JestersHK and Quillback 2
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 9, 2023 Author Root Admin Posted March 9, 2023 The white bite continues to amaze. I lost a hog this afternoon. Hook pulled out. nomolites, BilletHead, JestersHK and 3 others 6
JestersHK Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 I heard Chuck lost a nice brown at the boat yesterday? 20+lb class fish I was told, didn't fit in his net. Not sure what he hooked it on though. trythisonemv 1
