Successful Trip Report 10/23/23

I got out early today.  Well before daylight.   WT 62 and cloudy.  Should be good weather for catching.   I got to the boat ramp and looked around.  I didn’t bring a boat so as not to disturb all the people who weren’t there.
I waded stark naked so I wouldn’t spread any invasives to this pristine waterway.  Wasn’t bad until I got about knee deep and that cold water got to my twig and berries.
I couldn’t decide if I should try top water or cranks.  No worry.  I didn’t bring a rod or tackle so as not to harm any fish.  Pretty successful day.  Didn’t catch a thing.  Disturbed none of the people who weren’t there or the fish.   I’ll probably get get out again later this week.

If I recall, you had a time when you were into naked frolicking in your yard.  Looks like you have expanded your boundaries.

Kids, . . . let this serve as a reminder of where the path of ned-rig fishing from a jet boat may take you.

First, you may find yourself overly concerned with bent intake bars on your lower unit.  Then, days later, its finding yourself nekkid at dawn on a boat ramp, muttering about your twig and berries.  From there, its a slippery slope down to taking a shift at the Command Center with Oneshot, or maybe sitting half-slumped in a vinyl lawn chair at Simpson Lake, carp fishing on valium.

Probably because the twig and berries were in a bunch.  Better luck next time.....
