Have a Buck running by the house. 

Today he was hit on the highway. Laid in the ditch a bit.

Got up and walked on.

A deer can jump the string of a bow/arrow that shoots 370 fps.....yet can't avoid being hit by a full size Chevy traveling 30mph (40fps) 

Makes no sense at all.

                    Makes all the sense in the world this time of the year. 

     Take a trip in the time machine when you were courting sugarbritches.  You had that glazed look in your eyes while you were chasing her around.  If she had made it across the road and you were after her there would be no looking left and right before crossing. Out you would have leaped in front of that chevy and splat. Next thing you would have been a bag of bones, greasy bloody mess right there on the pavement. Roadkill, possum food all because of a female of the same species. 

    Now you are an old surviving buck. Going downhill, like oneshot you know have to muster up the energy to sleep in the same room as your doe.  Time will take its toll. We all will end up a bag of bones. 😀

Not even close!   She hopped in my truck when I was headed over to the bagnell strip to play Skee-ball, and feed carp.....and she just never went back home.  

It was like picking up a tick at an amusement park.

That's nothing.  I got skunked (once) while fishing.  I somehow managed to pick myself up and forced myself to go fishing AGAIN!!  😲

Once!   That’s nothin.  I’ve done it dozens of times.   With winter approaching I look forward to a few months of trips like that.
