I am interested to see how the long trout boat does on the river.  My 1648 aluminum boat with pods does EXCELLENT.  it will stay on plane at 9mph or less, which is great for super tight maneuvers.

This what I use to clean moss, leaves, etc. out of the grate.

Depending on the time of year.

Spring, maple parachutes clog pretty bad.

Summer, all the crap stirred up when they break up the moss beds on the weekend

Late summer, rocks due to low water.

Fall, leaves.

But I run a 25 hp vacuum cleaner.  Does not take much to stir up the flow on the vortex of that one.  Bigger engines spit stuff out that my jet chokes on.  That little 20 jet on my Covid Jon will crap out on muddy water it seems.

I do have one of those that Wrench suggests coming from Ebay.  I have a prop boat also.  Just keep it in the back pocket on all of my trips if it works.  Always on the search of the perfect multitool.

Anything below a 70hp is gonna get choked easily.  A 90hp can pretty much be run right through anything that doesn't make a "thud' on the bottom of the boat.

Those big sycamore leaves will get my 90 rude occasionally.  Floating rafts of moss/leaves in Taney will get it too.   But not nearly like my old 40/60 mercury 4 stroke, plug fouling oil burner.  😆

Got one today in the mail.  Wrench too big for the prop nut on my 50.  No use for a 9/16 drain plug wrench.  Give it a try on Current River this weekend on Sat. if I end up skipping the foot in rocks.  Never seem to make a run without kissing the shoal somewhere, even down by Doniphan.

If not, my buddy may end up with it.  Prop wrench may fit his 150.

You don't need prop nut fitment on a jet pump !   

You stick a screwdriver in the little square hole, put the hook part behind the rock, and push down on the prop wrench part.....or tap it with a big rock. 👍

But I needed a prop wrench for the bass boat.  Trying to find the one tool for both.

The trout boat did really well on the river last weekend. I was surprised how recomendation
