So I guess getting accolades of a state record are greater than the risks of humiliation to you and your family? “Hey Billy, I heard your dad cheated with that State record crappie?”

Wonder if they x-rayed the fish holding the standing record ?  I'm betting that they didn't.

True

Just because there's snow on the ground and I'm bored I ran out to the shop and gathered up the biggest ball bearings I could find.     It took 7 of them to weigh more than 2 ice cubes.

So there's that. 🤷‍♂️

Don't ask me the specific weight......I used my culling balance beam. 🙄

2 or 3 that were visible, but admittedly 2 of them looked bigger than the average "bearing".   Possibly some slingshot ammo.   Still, a steel ball isn't very heavy.  How many ice cubes do you think could be shoved down the throat of a 3-4lb. fish ?

Check THIS out ....

Want to make sure the ice isn't made with city water or the chlorine, fluoride etc will show up when they get Quincy to do  the forensics.   But it shouldn't be to hard to get 8oz/cup down a whopper.

Yeah a couple of Lemon-Lime popsicles would never fly.    Better to freeze some lake water with some native sand in it.  😅

Now you know what the coolers in those Basscats are for.  😉

Hell, here's 3oz. right here ! IMG_20240216_155116042.jpg
