No !

Ben doesn't "guide".

They auctioned off a day in the boat with him, and some rich kids daddy SAW TO IT that his kid won.  🙄  The kid talked on his phone to a gamer buddy while they were out, and never caught a fish over 3lbs.

This is what bass fishing has come to. 😡

Heard that experience went for $17K.

Ben used to be (might still be) a member here.  He's pretty rough around the edges though, so the moderators probably ran him off.   😂

He's totally full of himself now.  Heck of a livescoper though 👍

And to think, Ben practically begged me to take him out and show him how I was catching them on a Red-eye Shad one early March here in the Gravi......and I blew him off. 😅

I actually didn't blow him off, the weather turned to crap and BOTH OF US lost the desire to follow through.

Milliken is a very talented angler that has learned how the technology works and uses it to its fullest potential. You tube and livescope are a new era that he is an expert in both and he works really hard and spends an immense amount of time on the water which is key to success. I have learned a lot about how the livescope works from watching his information. I am frustrated at some of his fish handling and that he never has a lifejacket on and I think that is a bad image to portray to young anglers that will imitate their perceptions of things that are ok. It is his prerogative to not wear one but after seeing the aftermath of a boat with no kill switch and a friend losing an arm, it can happen quickly and at slow speeds. I feel he is also very adaptable to the situation which is a crucial element to being successful at a high level.

Whew, this kinda makes us meat fisherman with our tin boats, stringers and nightcrawlers not seem so bad huh?  At this point they really should just allow live bait in bass tournaments.  It sure seems like all bets are off anyway.  I guess worm farms just don't shell out the kinda money that garmin does.

I can also lie on the internet.

The voice of experience?

Of course.  I remember several years ago, I was fishing at table rock once and Jacob Wheeler just kept following me around all over the lake after watching me catch an 11# smallmouth (I almost had a pic, but my phone was dead).  He was practically begging me to teach him my secrets of bass fishing with a rattle trap.  Of course I blew him off.  That guy was never really on my level though.  He and a few other bass fishing athletes were telling me how good I would do at the professional level.  Of course I knew if I did that I would become such a dominant champion that it would ruin the sport of bass fishing worse than livescope.  I graciously stuck to fishing recreationally.
