I was on the water at 6:30. Before sunrise and full moon still bright.  I believe in good fishing around full moon’s. After whacking a bunch of 14”ers on Neds and whacky rigs the past two trips I put on the jig to try for bigger fish.

It’s called a tightrope firework.  PBJ of course.  And focused on wood.  Not standing, but lay downs I found yesterday.  And boy it worked!   I caught fish  steadily from 6:45 to 11.  A bunch of 14”ers again but some nicer 15-18” fish too.

The largemouth went 3.5 pounds and 18”s.  The smallie was 17”s.  Crappie is 13’s.  Another great day on the water.

Great job Pete! Trying to figure out that last pic of the laydown. Am I seeing tree shadows or some kind of difference in the water clarity around the top left corner of the pic?

Unless you've got really tiny feet that's a heck of a crappie!

Yep the laydown was about 25' from a small bluff.
