The larva are those nasty warbles that get into rabbits and other mammals. Could be very well while they are around. Lots of easy pickings in the city! We are having problems right now. Pat is transplanting wildflowers. Bunnies all over eating her transplants. Happens every year until the local owls figure out, they are here. Soon we will be finding bunny fur where they were snatched up. I knew a guy in grad school that had a botfly on his arm during a 2 month trip that he did in Costa Rica. He wanted to let it go to term and emerge so that he could be the ultimate "host". He said that it felt pretty strange moving around and the butt end sticking out kind of freaked him out. He ended up having one of his roommates that was experienced in pulling caddisfly larve from their cases without damaging them to remove the larva intact. snagged in outlet 3, Terrierman, ness and 1 other 2 1 1
