I got my Worms from Midwest Worms in Conway.

They are saying European Nightcrawlers are kin to  Red Wigglers and best fishing worms a person can.

The European ones look like the red wigglers at Wally World.

Nightcrawlers look like small eyeless snakes and are for Cats and larger fish.

I was thinking the same.

Guy at Conway said Red Wigglers will work but they take a small hook because they are so small.

Ok I was reading European Nightcrawlers get 5-7 inches long and are more lively on the hook than Canadian Nightcrawlers.

Plus European Nightcrawlers don't need refrigeration.

I think most are considering these Red Wigglers.

Is that possible? Do  your European night crawlers have "tiger stripes" like the red worms do, with alternating segments being light and dark? Aren't the night crawlers somewhat flat tailed? Do the European crawlers have a dark head end like the Canadian crawlers?

Or do you mean that the worms for sale are being misrepresented? I haven't bought any bait in years, so have  no idea what Walmart is selling.
