Daryk Campbell Sr Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Hopefully the pending sale goes smoothly. I'm currently building mine, and really looking at another option. I'm really liking the NuCanoe Ultimate and they now have the U10 which is a 10'10" version. They are canoe/kayak hybrids. I've been wanting one for quire a few years, but just out of justifiable price range. Soon... Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)

I have looked at the 12 footer but haven't made a decision.
fishinwrench Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I studied the Mad River line awhile back, and they are super good canoes. More designed for secondary stability (faster) than what I personally prefer..... because I have a dog. 😅

Windy day in April, one too many casts in a riffle that took me sideways into a big wind. I could have used tertiary stability then.... because me.
fishinwrench Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Yeah, a fast and easily maneuverable canoe is no place for a 100lb. Labrador with a horsefly pestering him. That's a good way to loose a bunch of gear. 😅

For about two minutes. fishinwrench 1
