snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I saw it while I was riding the trail. Apparently it’s the university of Michigan’s solar car. It made it about 1/5 the way up the hill out the Missouri River bottoms. Then two guys jumped out and pushed up the hill. 😆 Quillback, dpitt and Johnsfolly 1 1 1
jdmidwest Posted July 1 Posted July 1 We are at the fringe of solar efficiency in this neck of the woods. And, Electrick cars are a thing of the past. snagged in outlet 3 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Haven't we been seeing these types of vehicles since the 70's? They still don't seem to do well long term or on cloudy days. What I want to see is a combustion engine that runs on the methane from cow farts🤣. Just imagine a car pulling its own fuel in a cow trailer with two steers with inline gas tubes to the cars engine. Just need to buy another bale or two for those long trips😉. If you end up stranded, you can always eat one of the "fuel tanks". snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 3
Quillback Posted July 1 Posted July 1 All of a sudden I am seeing Tesla trucks here and there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this beholder thinks they are one ugly vehicle. Johnsfolly, snagged in outlet 3, Mitch f and 3 others 5 1

The body panels aren’t even straight. That thing has more waves than a beauty pageant. No thanks. Quillback 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted July 2 Author Posted July 2 I know several people who bought teslas and got rid of them. Build and fit quality is horrible. Repairs are a crap shoot. It might be a while before they have your parts. That’s if you are in an area that has someone who can work on it. Range anxiety and recharging absolutely suck! Mitch f and Quillback 2
