snagged in outlet 3
Went out early this morning before daylight. Since I’m in a jon boat I head straight to the back of the cove and threw a buzz bait. Caught one like this right off the bat then 4 small smallies and this one to finish the morning early before going back to work. He’s just short of 14”. Off the water by 7:45. A few boats were out in the deep water using ffs I assume. I’ll try the next cove down early Saturday I think. gurzik, Quillback, dpitt and 7 others

snagged in outlet 3
I'm going to try something I've thought about for a while now. I was looking at the topo map of T Rock and my thought is to fish the lake like I do rivers. When they turn on the generators today I'm going to fish in what would be an eddy behind a point if it were a river. Does that make sense? I'm going to concentrate on the downstream side of some points. I watched a small branch a few ago just keep circling in a wide pattern on the back side of a point we had anchored the boat on so the kids could swim. It would drift out to the far edge of the point and then circle back in front and along the shore. Clearly it was stuck in eddy. It wasn't rapidly circling, probably took 45 minutes or so but it did it several times that afternoon. cheesemaster, Flysmallie, bfishn and 2 others

That's absolutely a good plan, very few anglers take advantage of generation currents in reservoirs. Since the flow is so much slower than a river though, I've found the upstream side of points to usually be better than down. When I did it, I'd drift slip floats out ahead of the boat, or drag bottom rigs behind. Either way your bait approaches with the current right into their faces. Looks like they pull water about the same time everyday. snagged in outlet 3

dblades
Several years ago I read an article by Brian Snowden, on how he fished TR depending on how they were releasing water from both Beaver and the TR dams. snagged in outlet 3
rps
I had not thought to try that at the lower end of the lake. I do know that from the Beaver dam down as far as Eagle Rock current makes a difference, especially when both are releasing water. On a related note, the releases also affect water temp in the upper end.
