Not my video, just happened to come across this on YouTube. 2 minutes and 5 seconds he opens the catalog. Yeah when I was in Georgia it was very common to see young kids in the bars drinking beer. Nobody seemed to care one bit. Surely they wouldn't serve them whiskey....but who knows.

Liquor was strictly in state run liquor stores or private clubs for a cocktail. Iowa used to be the same about liquor and wine. fishinwrench 1

But in the early 80’s “nickel beer” nights were common. Granted it was the small plastic cups but it was still a deal. Terrierman 1
