Seth Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Who the heck is cutting onions in the office this morning? I'm sorry to hear that Phil. Jackson lived a great life though and enjoyed it to the very end. I'll miss seeing him when we come down for the winter trout tourneys from now on. Those fur babies always take a little piece of your heart with them when they cross the rainbow bridge. It hurts like no other, but that just reminds you that all the days you got to enjoy with them meant so much. It's a shame that they dont' live nearly as long as us. Anytime we've lost a pet, we tell ourselves we aren't sure if we can handle losing another one in the future. After a few months, we always end up coming to terms with the fact that losing one sucks A LOT, but not having one to enjoy life with sucks even more. Losing a good pet is one of lifes worst experiences, but the enjoyment of having a good dog by your side for years is one of lifes best at the same time. Terrierman and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
gotmuddy Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I am very sorry to hear this, that dog was better than most humans. Terrierman, Daryk Campbell Sr and BilletHead 2 1 everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Foghorn Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Grandkids had a chocolate lab that weighed in the neighborhood of 130 pounds. He passed away 2 years ago at 12.5 years old. Loved that dog. Youngest granddaughter found old Bishop after school lying on the front porch. Think she set and hugged him a couple hours not wanting to let him go. Daryk Campbell Sr, Phil Lilley and Terrierman 2 1

crazy4fishin Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Phil, sorry to hear the news. He was a great dog and such an even temperament, even when my GSP was looking for him to play! Prayers for comfort and peace while you process the loss. C4F Phil Lilley 1 Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker
